In 2018, I volunteered with NBL team Melbourne United as an opportunity to upskill and gain hands-on experience in a professional sports media environment. My work included capturing and producing content around player and coach press conferences, team training sessions, and fan engagement experiences such as community clinics and the pregame live show hosted at The Sporting Globe in Richmond.
A key highlight from this period was securing my first piece of broadcast media coverage on Fox Sports, featuring footage we captured of import player Carrick Felix’s arrival at the club—marking a significant milestone in my journey into sports media production.
